This poster was published in the early years of Starline’s poster series. It is laid out in the standard Starline design of the time – solid border, simple lettering at the top, and a large, excellent action photo as the centerpiece. It is a classic image – Rickey taking off on a steal of third at Yankee stadium on a sunny afternoon. The photo at left is dark, but on the actual poster you can see every detail – including Rickey’s tonge sticking out in concentration as he starts his run. A rare beauty for the wall of any true fan!
